This according to a visiting specialist team from the Sahyadri Hospital. Dr Vivek Gaikwad from the India-based hospital said of the nine patients who underwent angiogram procedures,four had severe coronary heart diseases.
"Just the first four patients had blockages of all three arteries,so they will be requiring bypass straightaway".
"So it's very severe coronary heart disease and if it is not treated,patients can have cardiac arrest.So there is risk of cardiac arrests,heart faillures,and the patient can be crippled lateron.Once the heartmuscles are dead or scarred we cannot do anything."
